Club History
Florida Antique Tackle Collectors was founded in 1987 by five avid collectors. They felt that a statewide organization would provide more opportunities for residents of Florida to meet and learn more about the hobby; and to delve into Florida's rich angling history. The organization holds at least four shows or meets annually at different Florida locations. At the shows, members display their collections, meet with the public, and buy, sell and trade with other collectors. The clubs shows often attract collectors from other states. Each year the club honors a Florida lure maker by placing one of their lures on a club patch. Photos of the club patches and their lures, are located on the link below.
